100 Women Who Care Fernie raised $10,000 for two local organizations through its Giving Event on Nov. 2.
Angel Flight East Kootenay and UPLIFT Community Support Association were awarded with $5,000 each to further their vital community work.
“We are incredibly grateful to 100 Women Who Care Fernie for their ongoing support,” stated UPLIFT co-founder Brenna Sullivan. “This generous contribution will allow us to continue to support individuals and their families and provide inclusive programming to fit the needs of the children and youth in the communities of the Elk Valley.
