B.C. wheelchair curler inducted into World Curling Hall of Fame

Vernon’s Sonja Gaudet has been inducted into the World Curling Hall of Fame.

Gaudet entered the Hall of Fame over the Easter weekend in the athlete category, alongside fellow Canadian Les Harrison, who was inducted in the builder category.

Gaudet is one of the world’s most decorated wheelchair curlers. She has won three Paralympic Winter Games gold medals as Canada’s lead in 2006, 2010 and 2014, and also won world championships in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
