For the first time, Kelowna is the host city for Country Music Week and the 2025 Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA).

“The city’s unique charm, complemented by its urban energy, will showcase the best in Canadian country music,” said Amy Jeninga, CCMA president.

Mayor Tom Dyas noted B.C. has only hosted Country Music Week twice since 1977.

“What better city to welcome it back than Kelowna,” Dyas added.
