A fun day for families and a local fundraiser that has brought in thousands of dollars to the community, the annual Fernie Lion’s Demolition Derby will continue its more than 30-year tradition, Sept. 4, 2011 at the Fernie Rodeo Grounds.
Drivers will compete for more than $3,000 in prizes: prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place, as well as for the best-dressed car, powder puff heat winner, small car-only heats and the truck, van and SUV heat.
