Racers took to the slopes at Fernie Alpine Resort on Saturday with their cardboard creations for the Raging Elk Cardboard Derby.
Five teams built entries for the derby, where teams have to drive their homemade cardboard machines down a slope and try to finish as near a target as possible.
The teams had two chances to make the run next to the Deer Chair.
