This letter is to inform the residents of the mining communities, present and of the past, that we have sent a letter to the hardworking mayor and councillors of your town, to consider the naming and declaring the day of May 1st, as the Day of the Miner.
Hopefully, this collective declaration - for all the mining communities - will happen in unison in the three western provinces of BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
