Dylan Annis, a grade 12 student at Fernie Academy, has been appointed as youth councillor for the 2023-24 term.
Annis, 17, attended his first council meeting on Oct. 24 and he’s building a vision for the coming year.
He’s intent on improving communication between secondary students in Fernie, and would like to see students from Fernie Academy and Fernie Secondary School connect more often.
