Elk Valley, Cranbrook, Kimberley and Creston child care facilities receive CBT funding

Childcare facilities across the Columbia Basin have received funding for equipment and appliances. CBT file

A number of child care facilities in the East Kootenay have received Columbia Basin Trust funding for a variety of projects.

Facilities will use the funding for buying children’s furniture, specialized learning equipment to support children with special needs, improve health and safety, including fences, shade structures or improving washrooms.

Funding recipients include:

Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club- $7,000 to purchase indoor play equipment

Cranbrook Christian School Society - $6,930 for outdoor play equipment

Cranbrook Huddles and Cuddles Play Centre - $7,000 for indoor lay equipment and storage units

Little Stubbies Learning Centre - $795 for outdoor play equipment

Momentum Child Care Cranbrook - $4,600 outdoor play equipment and more

Precious Time Child Care Cranbrook - $7,000 for indoor and outdoor play equipment, furniture, shade sails and storage...
