Elk Valley RCMP’s phone system is undergoing repairs, after it was found that some calls were not making it through on the non-emergency line.
Staff received a few enquires from locals who had concerns after they were unable to reach them when they called the phone line on their cell.
After several tests, it was determined that this was a legitimate problem and that all three local detachments were experiencing the same problem.
