Banners lining the streets of Fernie will celebrate local art talent for the eighth year running.
The banner project committee is looking for 36 diverse works of art to showcase on the 2011 City of Fernie banners, which are hung from signs and lamp posts in Second Avenue for one year before being moved to the highway.
Oz Parsons of The Arts Station said the project began as a collaboration with the City of Fernie.
