On December 20, 2023, Fernie Council awarded the 2023 George S Majic Spiritus Award to Samantha Sedlowsky.
“Samantha exemplifies the spirit of giving and has shown unwavering commitment to our community, donating hundreds of hours to local causes and organization,” the city of Fernie said in a social media post.
The Spiritus Award celebrates community members whose contribution and commitment to our city embody strong community values and enhance the lives of fellow residents.
