A Fernie therapist who tried a unique medical technology for the first time after suffering two concussions, is raising awareness of it in the hope that other people can benefit.

Certified trauma therapist Cheryl Hulburd operates Fernie Counselling and Consulting. She used a Low-Energy Neurofeedback Systems (LENS) device for the first time last year after she suffered two concussions in a row, and found that her symptoms completely disappeared after a few sessions.
