FRANK SAMARDAK
January 14, 1936 - November 2, 2010
Frank passed away peacefully at his home in Toronto. He was born in Fernie B.C., and moved to Toronto in 1954 to reside with his Aunt and Uncle, Toronto remained his home throughout his long career with WCB, over 30 years, and subsequent 18 years of retirement.
Frank will be sadly missed by his family and many friends especially his best friend David Kennedy and his sister-in-law Sonia Thrun.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Bertha and his brother Mike. Frank is survived by his daughter Paula Samardak, son-in-law Grant and grandsons Kris and Beau, nieces and nephews Cathy, Danny, Patty, Jody and Freddie Rehm, and Richard and Michelle Davis, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Memorial service and celebration of Frank’s life will take place in Toronto November 28, 2010.
