Kelowna company hosts golf tourney, sends Make-A-Wish girl to Disneyland

The event raised over $10,000, more than 10x the amount from the year previous; 3rd annual event on May 24

It’s amazing the difference a year can make.

Last May, a Kelowna fundraising golf tournament saw a ten times increase, compared to the inaugural event, benefiting a local Make-A-Wish child.

City Electric Supply (CES) Kelowna hosted its second annual golf tournament recently and raised a total of $10,246. This comes just a year after the inaugural event raised less than $1,000.

“We challenged ourselves to raise enough funds to grant one wish with the tournament funds,” said CES Kelowna district manager James Cookson.
