The chamber of commerce from Kelowna’s sister city has donated $1,000 to the Kelowna Firefighters Association.

The Kasugai Chamber of Commerce and Industry offered the gift through the Kelowna Chamber to help alleviate the effects of the 2023 wildfires.

“We are impressed by the ongoing generosity of the people of Kasugai in thinking of Kelowna, and bringing us their good wishes for 2024, as well as this welcome donation to our first responders, who have been at the forefront of fundraising efforts in the wake of last summer’s fires,” said Dan Rogers, CEO of the Kelowna Chamber.
