Local musicians bring festive feel to The Arts Station

Festive folk had a treat Thursday night when they joined local musicians and singers for a festive sing along.

Fernie Chamber Orchestra and Fernie Community Choir took to the stage at the Arts Station for a concert of Christmas music and carols.

The orchestra, which is made up of eight local musicians and is led by flautist Yolaine Hames, played a medley of Christmas modern classics and traditional carols, The Holly and the Ivy and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, to an audience of 76.
