Oolichan books launched its latest release at the Brickhouse in Fernie on Monday night.
Snowdrift by Lisa McGonigle documents the experiences of an Irish student who ran away from her Oxford Scholarship to the mountains of Fernie and Rossland to live the ski bum lifestyle.
McGonigle uses her emails to friends and family back home to share her stories of life in Fernie.
