A new washroom facility is to be built next to the new water spray park in Lions Park in Sparwood.
The Director of Community and Facility Services made a presentation to Council on Monday on options for a washroom and change room facility with a concession area at the Water Spray Park. Council approved funding for the building at an estimated cost of $226,300 from recreation reserves and balance if required from land reserves.
