Conservation officers are asking people to look out for an orphaned moose whose mother was killed by the train.

Conservation officers are asking people to look out for an orphaned moose whose mother was killed by the train.

The mother moose was found near the train tracks near the crossing behind the Max Turyk School, on Mt McLean Drive.

The calf has been seen wandering around but conservation officers have not been able to catch it yet.

Anyone who spots it should contact the conservation officers on 1-877-952-7277.
