A thank-god-its-summer frenzy descended upon Sparwood last week for Coal Miner Days.
Crowds of locals turned up to the events to enjoy some quality time with family and friends.
On June 10, the sun shone intermittently throughout the day and temperatures soared to 30 degrees. Locals started their day early with a pancake breakfast at the mall and then they headed out to watch the parade.
