Unprovoked assault update:
The Elk Valley RCMP is currently attempting to identify a person of interest in relation to an assault outside a local bar in Fernie.
Police were called to The Royal Hotel bar in the early morning hours of June 16th after a male was approached by five other people and then attacked by a person in that group, suffering potentially life altering injuries.
