RDEK releases results of Climate Action Plan survey

The Regional District of East Kootenay recently released the results of their public online survey to collect community views and priorities on around climate change, as the RDEK prepares a Climate Action Plan. Over 1000 people responded to the survey.

Asked ‘how concerned are you about the impacts of climate change in the RDEK?’, 37 per cent of respondents were extremely concerned and 24 per cent were not at all concerned.
