LAFLAMME:
On Sunday, October 24, 2010 Robert Laflamme passed away at the Elk Valley Hospital, four days before his 81st birthday. An only child, Bob was born on October 28, 1929 to parents Wilfred and Mary Laflamme in Ansonville, Ontario.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Mary (Maizy) and their 7 children: Phillip (Kathy), Michael (Joanne), Grant (Brenda), Rene, Peter (Gina), Kathryn (Dean) and Raymond (Christine), 12 grandchildren: Christopher, Scott, Adrian, Mike, Shanna, Jessie, Janine, Jeff, Krista, Terri-Ann, Ashley and Justine, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 cousins: Gail, Gloria, and Sharon. He was predeceased by his parents and 2 grandchildren, Kimberly and Gregory.
Bob worked as a mechanic all his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling to the states, gold mining and woodworking.
A private family Memorial Service was held at the Senior’s Drop In Center on Wednesday, October 27th with Major Joan Shayler officiating.
