UPDATE: Search for missing Lumby woman ends in tragedy

Tatjana Stefanski was last seen in her ex-husband’s car

UPDATE April 17:

Police are now confirming the 44-year old woman reported missing in Lumby on April 13 has sadly been found deceased.

Criminality is suspected in the person’s death and the investigation has been turned over to the RCMP Southeast District Major Crimes Unit.

“The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP offer our sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to the woman’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time,” said Const.
