On Thursday night last week the Fernie Museum held the opening reception for its latest exhibit, Vignettes of Summer, which was well attended by local artists.

This group art show will run until August 30, and includes a historical photo collage, giving a glimpse of how summer was celebrated in Fernie in the early 1900s.

It also gives an opportunity for artists to showcase their work and to celebrate summer in the mountains.
