From Hosmer to Fernie, firehalls are en vogue this fall.
They are burning issues (sorry couldn’t resist) and are the residents getting hosed (sorry again … maybe)?
Unlike Hosmer, in Fernie there is no debate about whether to keep the existing hall. The department packed up and moved out of the old firehall on Third Avenue some time ago and have taken up the second most popular pastime in Fernie … trying to find adequate housing.
