The cynic in me saw it coming. I’ve seen this movie play out in different communities scores of times: The community shows up en masse to oppose some sort of proposal, civic leaders take the community’s concerns seriously, and promptly approve said proposal.
The Galloway Lands proposal is yet another in a long list. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes civic leaders get it right when going against community wishes to approve something.
